This Privacy Policy sets out how the Wyakin Foundation uses and protects the personal information that you provide on the Wyakin Foundation website . It is our policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website. The information you provide when you use the website shall be used in accordance with the conditions outlined in this agreement and the User Terms and Conditions policy also listed on the website.   By using this website you consent to this Privacy Policy. The Information That We Collect

This policy notice applies to all information submitted by you and collected on the website. You have the opportunity to submit information when you contact us for any reason, including to submit a warrior application as part of a request for services or to submit an application to become a volunteer. In addition, you when you submit an application to become a Wyakin Warrior or to become a volunteer, you will be asked to consent to a background check.

Website Participants

Like most website operators, we also collect Non-personally Identifiable Information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each participant request. Our purpose in collecting Non-personally Identifiable Information is to better understand how our website visitors use the website. From time to time, we may release Non-personally Identifiable Information in the aggregate, e.g., by producing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

We also collect Potentially-personally Identifiable Information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments. We only disclose logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses Personally Identifiably Information as described below.

Use of Personally Identifiable Information

WyWF takes your privacy very seriously. Accordingly, WyWF agrees that the Personally Identifiable Information that you provide will only be used for the following specific purposes: to determine your eligibility to receive a financial support as a Wyakin Warrior; to fulfill your requests for services; to respond to a specific question, to manage financials, to send thank you correspondence, to process and evaluate your request for services or your application to become a volunteer, and to inform of opportunities for contributing to special events benefiting the WyWF. If you make a donation on the WyWF Website, your name and contact information will be entered into our Donor Database. WyWF also collects the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email, along with the contact information volunteered by a WyWF Website Participant.

WyWF agrees that the Personally Identifiable Information you provide will not be shared, sold or otherwise distributed to outside parties, except as described above and to provide the products or services you’ve requested, or in response to a validly-issued subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when necessary to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims made by you or on your behalf. WyWF agrees that the Personally Identifiable Information provided by you will not be used in any way that violates or is otherwise unrelated to the uses described in this agreement, without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such an unrelated use.

Warrior Application and/or Volunteer Application

In order to become eligible to receive our services, or to become a volunteer, you must first complete an online application and consent to a background check. The applications are posted on the website and require you to provide certain Personally Identifiable Information, including, but not limited to the information described above (see “The Information That We Collect”). This information may be periodically used to contact you about news and events, site news and updates, and changes to this policy.

Correction of Personally Identifiable Information

You are responsible for ensuring that all Personally Identifiable Information you provide on the website is accurate.   If you have questions about correcting or updating your personal data please contact our support team via email.

Protection of Certain Personally Identifiable Information

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have established appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information collected online. We disclose Potentially-personally Identifiable Information and Personally Identifiable Information only to management, Webmaster, affiliated contractors who conduct background checks, and service providers (e.g., those entities that provide services as part of the Warrior financial support) that (1) need to know the information in order to process it on our behalf or to provide services available through the website, and (2) that have agreed not to disclose the information.

Although we do not currently allow advertising on the website, we do publish upcoming events on the home page. In addition, a website visitor may access social media sites as well as other sites by subscribing to the portal access on the website. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers or social media websites accessed through the website portal.

If the Wyakin Foundation, or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that the Wyakin Foundation goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party, who would be subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
