Meet Jenny Alderden
Jenny Alderden, PhD, APRN, is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at Boise State University. Dr. Alderden’s program of research focuses on pressure injury (bedsore) prediction and prevention. She is a United States Navy veteran and served as a helicopter nurse and lead nurse of a shock trauma platoon in Al Anbar, Iraq.
I enjoy mentoring student veterans because I know firsthand the struggles they may face and I want to help them succeed. I am constantly amazed by their resilience and determination, and learning from them and their experiences is inspiring.
